Kory Zuniga
Founder of School of Skills and has coached basketball for over 30 years. Coaching background includes: California State CrossRoads High School, Mira Costa High School, West Torrance High School, North Torrance High School, Bishop Montgomery High School and Los Angeles City College. Club Level: Los Angeles Rockfish, Beach Cities & private instruction.

     
  Chris Fernandez
Has played basketball for a total of 11 years. In middle school he went on to get 3rd place at AAU Nationals in Texas, and soon went on to attend high school at both Redondo Union and Mira Costa. As a Sophomore he made the RUHS Varsity basketball team, and as a Senior lead the team as Captain. Currently Chris is attending California State Dominguez Hills University, and majoring in cellular and molecular biology as a Pre-Med student and has ambitions to apply to medical school in the future to become a MD. He also plans to be continuously around the game of basketball by helping his little brother Jacob and all the other players currently in the School Of Skills basketball program.
     
  Brandon Adrian
Has played basketball for a total of 11 years. He started his career playing RBYB throughout elementary and middle school. Along with RBYB he also played club basketball for Total Impact. He then moved on to playing High School basketball for both Redondo Union High School and Peninsula High School. After High School, he continued to stay active in the game coaching the basketball team at Mark Twain Elemenatry School and was Assistant Coach for Total Impact.
     
 

Gary Stepter
Alumni of Redondo Union High school and Luzeinger High School, playing for both basketball programs in his high school career. He has been playing competitive basketball for 12 years and has been coaching for 3 years. Gary currently goes to El Camino College.


     
 

Vernon Hill
Started playing basketball at the age of 13 in the Gardenas Park League. As a Freshman he played on the Senior Division at Ralley Park where he helped lead his team to the championship game by recording the most rebounds. As a Sophomore, he played on the JV team at Hawthorne High School. Vernon showcased his speed on the track team in his Junior year of high school where he made it to the C.I.F. in the 100 meter race and relay. He still plays for Hawthorne High School as a Senior on the Varsity team. His brother is a proud player at School of Skills for 3 years now. Vernon would recommend that every kid who loves basketball should attend the School of Skills program.

     
  Chris Weakley
During his playing career Chris set a NJCAA record for most three point field goals in a single tournament hitting thirteen out of twenty-one beyond the arc. He averaged 25.5 points per game during the season. His post-season accolades including setting an IBL record, hitting ten three-point baskets in a single game in 2007. AFter his collegiate career, Weakley endured 6 different minor league teams on his journey to the Explosion where he played, coached, and became owner of the team. He has played professionally overseas and also has helped coach in the minor leagues while in California. Chris has coached at Prince Avenue Prep located in South Carolina for a year and a half, and where he was able to also accomplish winning a national championship, posting a 48-2 record, and graduating 12 blue chip players. He has had the opportunity to experience pro basketball not only as a player, but also has learned the game from world level players and coaches giving him unprecedented amount of knowledge and passion for the game of basketball. Chris and Kory met at a training camp in 2006 where School of Skills hosted a pro workout for professional atheletes. Chris and Kory both found out that they had many things in common when it came to basketball, and Coach Kory brought Chris along as an instructer for School of Skills. They have become great friends over the years, and from the expereince Chris has gained from coaching in California, he realizes the need of this type of basketball program in Washington.
